Warhammer 40k is a sci-fi tabletop war game based in the year 40,000, created by Games Workshop who are also the makers of Warhammer Fantasy. The game is a hobby enjoyed by many and includes modeling and painting a full army. This allows a sort of creative freedom, letting you create your own part of a certain race. Letting you create a story for them, a color scheme and even give them names! Warhammer 40k is mainly a strategy game, you use your army and brilliant tactics to bring your foe down. There are regular competitions both for gaming and models. There are hundreds of different Games Workshop stores all around the world, and there are also many other stores that sell Warhammer 40k models too.
